Nashik Crime: A 35-year-old man residing in Navnathnagar on Peth Road severely injured his 65-year-old father by stabbing him in the stomach with sharp weapon. Father was critically injured and after month for struggling for life he passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Following this case of murder has been registered against the son at the Panchavati Police Station.

Deceased father who succumbed to injuries following the knife attack, has been identified as Sakharam Pandit Bhavsar. Police have arrested Ashwin Sakharam Bhavsar on charges of murdering his father. The altercation between the father son duo both residents of Rokade Chawl took place on the afternoon of February 5 over domestic issues.

During the incident, the suspect, Ashwin who was under the influence of alcohol at the time verbally abused his father, Sakharam, before stabbing him in the left side of the abdomen with the sharp knife he was holding. Sakharam sustained critical injuries in the attack and was immediately admitted to a hospital for medical attention. He passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at the facility.
