Nashik TCS Case: Survivor Alleges Accused Pulled Close, Kissed and Sexually Assaulted
A woman employed at a BPO linked to Tata Consultancy Services in Nashik has come forward with serious allegations of abuse, sexual harassment, and forced religious conversion. In her statement, she described a sequence of traumatic experiences involving manipulation through friendship, false job promises, and marriage assurances. She accused the main accused of coercing her into physical relations, pressuring her to change her religion, and blackmailing her by threatening to leak private photographs. The incidents reportedly took place between 2022 and 2026, and she shared these details in an interview, highlighting the gravity and prolonged nature of the alleged ordeal.
According to the survivor, she first met Danish Sheikh in January 2022, as both had studied at the same college. Their acquaintance quickly turned into friendship, with Danish frequently meeting her under the pretext of work. Over time, their conversations increased, and he gained her trust by claiming he was an engineer in a reputable company and promising to help her get a job. As their bond deepened, an incident in July 2022 marked a turning point when he allegedly demanded physical intimacy during a meeting, the victim told India Today in an interview. When she resisted, he forcibly pulled her closer and kissed her. Upon her objection, he proposed marriage, leaving her confused and uncertain about his intentions, as she said she needed time to think.

In a detailed interview, the survivor stated that Danish continued to meet her regularly and reinforced her trust. After completing her education, she followed his advice and applied for a job at a company where she was eventually selected. Danish was already employed there, which led to frequent interactions between them. During this period, she was introduced to his acquaintances, including Tosif Akhtar and Nida Khan. The group often spent time together socially, during which discussions about religion became frequent. She alleged that Danish and Tosif repeatedly compared Hinduism and Islam, attempting to portray Islam as superior while questioning Hindu traditions, gradually creating psychological pressure on her to convert.
The survivor further alleged that in August 2024, Danish took her to a hotel under the pretext of a bike ride and forcibly established physical relations with her. This incident reportedly became known to his friend Tosif, who then began blackmailing her. He allegedly demanded sexual favors, and when she refused, he threatened to inform her family. Despite her attempts to reason with him, he persisted, and she claimed that he behaved inappropriately at the workplace by touching her without consent. Both Danish and Tosif allegedly pressured her to change her religion and threatened to leak her private photos if she did not comply, intensifying her mental distress.
The case took a significant turn in February 2026 when another woman contacted the survivor and revealed that Danish Sheikh was already married and had two children. This revelation left her shocked, as he had claimed to be unmarried. When confronted, he reportedly denied the allegations. The survivor stated that between July 2022 and February 2026, she was deceived and repeatedly subjected to sexual exploitation. She also accused Tosif of coercion and assault, alleging that she was systematically manipulated in the name of employment, marriage, and religion. The revelations have added a new dimension to the case, bringing increased attention to the serious allegations.
