Nov 16 Two youths were crushed to death by a car at Ramgarh Chowk in Badshahpur area in Gurugram.

After crushing the two youths on Sunday evening, the driver of the car lost balance and the vehicle overturned on the road.

The deceased have been identified as Sunil Kumar (22) and Manjeet Singh (21), both from Bihar's Gopalganj district.

According to the police, both the victims were working as plumbers in a private company located in Sector 65.

'The duo was returning home on foot when a speeding car crushed them near the Ramgarh Chowk. Manjeet died on the spot, while Sunil was rushed to a hospital in a critical condition but he died during treatment,' the police said.

Both the victims were relatives and they came in Gurugram from Bihar two months ago in search of work. They were planning to return to their homes for the Chhath festival.

'A case under the relevant sections of the IPC has been registered against the errant driver on a compliant filed by Manjit's cousin Rajan at the Sector 65 police station. The bodies have been handed over to the family members after autopsy. Further investigation is on,' said Subhash Boken, spokesperson of the Gurugram police.
