23 new cases, COVID-19 patient count in Delhi reaches 120

Crossing the 100-mark, the total cases of coronavirus patients in Delhi reached 120 on Tuesday, with 23 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

New Delhi, March 31 Crossing the 100-mark, the total cases of coronavirus patients in Delhi reached 120 on Tuesday, with 23 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the Delhi Health Department, among the 23 new cases, eight had foreign travel history, seven had contact history and eight were under investigation.

A total of 24 people were tested positive from the Nizamuddin Markaz Masjid so far. From the Markaz, while 441 were taken to hospitals, 1,447 were taken for quarantine.

In the city, six people have been discharged and two deaths have been reported so far.

Over 42,000 people were under home quarantine in the city with close to 24,000 yet to complete their 14-day period. The remaining have completed their 14-day quarantine.

Of the 120 positive cases, 49 have foreign travel history while 29 have contact history and 18 were under investigation.

The Health Department also said that 266 reports are pending.
