Rajasthan Road Accident: Six Killed, 5 Injured After Two Cars Collide on Jaipur-Bikaner Highway in Sikar

Six people were killed and five others were injured in a horrific car collision on Sunday evening in Sikar district of Rajasthan, police said. As per the reports the accident occurred around 4.50 pm on the Jaipur-Bikaner (NH-52) highway near Laxmangarh. The collision, involving an SUV and another car, was so severe that both vehicles were completely mangled.

Upon receiving information, police rushed to the spot and, with the help of locals, extricated the bodies trapped in the wreckage. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Sikar MP Sumedhanand Saraswati also visited the accident site and assured that the state government would facilitate the treatment of the injured. He informed that the Chief Minister had been briefed about the incident.

According to local reports, the accident happened when a car coming from the opposite direction crossed the divider and collided head-on with an SUV coming from Laxmangarh towards Sikar. The exact cause of the accident is still being investigated.
