A team from the weekly news magazine published in Hamburg has visited Bareilly and interviewed the couple and their family members.

Sources said that some filmmakers have also shown interest in bringing the love story to the big screen.

In July last year, Sakshi Mishra, daughter of BJP MLA Rajesh Mishra, had eloped with a Dalit boy Ajitesh Kumar.

The matter came to light when Sakshi uploaded her video on Facebook, pleading with her father and brother Vicky Bhartaul to spare her life and also that of Ajitesh whom she had married.

The video created a buzz in political circles because Sakshi claimed that her family wanted to eliminate her husband and his family.

The couple later appeared on news channels and said that they were happy together and asked Sakshi's family to let them live in peace.

The couple stayed at an unknown location in Delhi and finally returned to their home here last month.

The BJP MLA and his family were apparently unwilling to accept the relationship and faced flak for being 'casteist'.

Sakshi now is said to be preparing to take the civil services examination. "This is something that my father wanted for me and I will fulfill his wish maybe his anger will then melt away," she said in a recent interview.
