Agra: A 13-year-old boy was killed for allegedly plucking watermelons from a field owned by his family. In connection with this case two person has arrested. A boy was allegedly killed in Soni Kheda village by his family's partners, to whom they had leased a field. The attack, reportedly carried out with knives, occurred within the Basai Jagner police station limits on Friday.

Police personnel from multiple stations have been deployed to the area due to the resulting tensions. Agra DCP (West) Aditya reported the arrest of Riazuddin and Shirazuddin on Friday night for murder. The accused, farmworkers and partners on the victim's family land, were apprehended after the victim's sister discovered the body in the field.

A post-mortem examination has been ordered, and police have been deployed to the village as a precaution, Aditya added.
