Delhi: Two Men Stabbed to Death in Sarai Rohilla Area, Probe Underway

A shocking incident of crime reported in Delhi's  Sarai Rohilla police station area where a man and his brother-in-law was allegedly stabbed. As per the information the injured persons were admitted to RML Hospital for treatment but succumbed to their injuries last night.

Delhi Police stated that they are investigating all aspects of the case. Further details are pending as the investigation is ongoing. Previously, on April 30, the Crime Branch's Northern Delhi Range (NDR) arrested a proclaimed offender wanted for a gang assault on a minor, according to a release.

Gulzar (30), also known as Sonu, was arrested on April 29 in Palam Village for the brutal physical and sexual assault of a minor boy on October 5, 2024. Gulzar and three accomplices, Ajay, Neeraj, and Kamal, attacked the boy, with Gulzar allegedly holding him at gunpoint while the others inflicted blade injuries. A local resident rescued the unconscious victim.Gulzar had been evading capture since the incident, while his accomplices were previously arrested. He was declared a proclaimed offender in December 2025.

A team led by ACP Umesh Barthwal tracked Gulzar using technical surveillance and intelligence, leading to his arrest.Gulzar, a local barber, confessed to the crime and admitted to frequently changing hideouts. He faces charges under Section 6 of the POCSO Act, which carries a minimum sentence of 20 years, potentially extending to life imprisonment or death. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
