A tragic accident occurred today involving the Ahmedabad-to-London Air India flight. The aircraft was carrying approximately 80 to 90 tons of fuel, which made the explosion extremely intense. Many believed that no one could have survived such a blast, especially after watching videos of the explosion. However, in what is being called a miracle, one passenger has survived the crash.
This has left many wondering how someone could have made it out alive from such a catastrophic explosion. According to media reports, when the Air India plane crashed into the hostel building of BJ Medical College, the passenger reportedly fell from a height of around 425 feet through a broken section of the aircraft. The crash occurred in the Meghani Nagar area, a short distance from the Ahmedabad airport. Before hitting the ground, the plane had struck the hostel building.
The survivor was traveling on seat number A11. He has been rushed to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment. Identified as Ramesh Vishwaskumar, the 40-year-old is a British citizen of Indian origin. His survival is being hailed as nothing short of miraculous.
A video of Ramesh Vishwaskumar has gone viral on social media. In the footage, he is seen talking to a few people after escaping the wreckage. “When I opened my eyes, there were dead bodies all around. I was terrified. Then I stood up and began to run. About 30 seconds after takeoff, there was a loud noise, and the plane hit the ground. Everything happened so fast, I didn’t even realize what was going on,” Ramesh said.
He has suffered serious injuries to his chest, eyes, and legs and is currently being treated at a local hospital.
