The decision of whether the Shiv Sena will form the government in Maharashtra is lies in the hands of the Congress. Amidst all this, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has given a big statement to support NCP on the current political situation in the state . He said that first there will be nikah, after that will think whether there will be a son or a daughter. But the marriage hasn't taken place yet. Earlier, Owaisi had said that under no circumstances will we support Shiv Sena or BJP-led government.

On the other hand, the dilemma on government formation in Maharashtra is increasing even more. First BJP refused to form the government, then Shiv Sena could not give a letter of support in the fixed deadline. The Shiv Sena asked for another 48-hour deferment from the governor, which the governor did not accept. Now the governor has given the NCP the opportunity to form the government. Today i.e. till 8:30 PM on Tuesday night, NCP has to reply. Earlier, according to NCP sources, it was said that until the Congress does not join the government, the NCP also will not go with Shiv Sena in the government.

According to the source, the NCP does not want the government to collapse in 3 months. The NCP wants a stable government in the state which can only be formed by the NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena. Earlier, in Maharashtra, the Governor did not give 48 hours extension to the Shiv Sena, on Sunday, the Governor wrote a letter to the Shiv Sena stating to form the government by 7:30 pm on Monday. On behalf of the Shiv Sena, Aditya Thackeray went to Raj Bhavan willing to form the government and asked for 48 hours, which he did not get.
