Bengaluru Accident: Speeding Car Mows Down Man on MG Road, Driver Flees

A speeding car mowed down man on MG road in Bengaluru on Friday, May 8 morning. The deceased identified as Srinivas who was in his late 50s died on the spot in the accident that occurred at Anil Kumble junction here.

As per the police accident occurred at around 4:30 am travelling at high speed allegedly hit him with immense force. The driver of the offending vehicle fled the spot. Meanwhile, in separate incident one person was killed in an accident that occurred on Rambagh Road in Bhor, Pune district, after an ST bus and an Eco car collided head-on. The deceased was travelling in a car and died on the spot, while several others were reportedly seriously injured.

After receiving information about the accident, local residents rushed to the scene and began rescue operations. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
