Bengaluru: A couple living in a live-in-relationship died by suicide at an apartment in Kothanur. This tragic incident occurred on Monday March 30, 2026 night. Boyfriend 32-year-old Bhanu Chander Reddy Kunta, a software engineer from Telangana’s Siddipet, allegedly hanged himself in a room in their apartment.

While his 31-year-old Bibi Shaziya Siraj, also a techie who worked with IBM, found the door to their room locked. After her husband didn't answer her knocks, she alerted security and neighbors. Reportedly suffering from depression, Reddy later died by jumping from the 17th floor of the residential complex.

Reddy's suicide note absolved others of responsibility, citing his health condition. Neither family was aware of his relationship with the other deceased.
