Bomb Threat on IndiGo Flight From Delhi to Pune, Note Found in Aircraft Lavatory
An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Pune received a bomb threat on Thursday, January 22. According to the information, the handwritten threat note was found in the lavatory of flight 6E 2608. However, the Airlines spokesperson said that all passengers were safely deboarded the plane after the flight landed safely at the Pune airport.
An investigation into the bomb threat has been launched. The note in the onboard plane lavatory was found after the flight landed safely at the Pune airport.

IndiGo spokesperson said, "Soon after landing, a security threat was noticed onboard flight 6E 2608 operating from Delhi to Pune on 22 January 2026. Following the established protocol, we informed the relevant authorities immediately and are fully cooperating with them in following the standard operating procedures."
"All our customers and crew disembarked safely. We remain committed towards safety and security of our customers, crew, and aircraft," the airlines further said.
Meanwhile, the parent company of IndiGo, InterGlobe Aviation, said that a consolidated net profit of Rs 549.8 crore for Q3 FY26. This marks a 77.5% fall from the Rs 2,448.8 net profit reported in the same period in the previous year.
