The South Delhi administration on Friday said it would hand over Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, 3-1, Vasant Kunj, to the CRPF to use it as a quarantine facility for its personnel who will report from leave.

Sonalika Jiwani, SDM (Mehrauli), in an order said the school should be handed over to the CRPF by Monday morning after making the necessary arrangements for the stay of the quarantine persons.

She also directed the school to ensure that staff including peons, cleaners and others remain available full time.

"After the completion of the quarantine work, the school will be handed over in the same condition after proper sanitation and fumigation," the order said.

The order came after the Commandant, 122 Bn, CRPF, wrote to the administration to provide quarantine accommodation for their 157 personnel who will report from leave.
