Terrorists opened fire at a Central Reserve Police Force patrolling party in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore of Baramulla district on Wednesday morning when security forces were carrying out a combing operation. During the firing, a person and a three-year-old child were also hit.

The person died in the attack and a pictures of the the child sitting besides the dead body of the person amidst the gun battle has now gone viral. At the same time, the child with no clue as to what's happening around was seen walking around without knowledge of the circumstances.  The CRPF jawans however saved the toddler from further attacks but it is still not clear  what relation the child has with the deceased person. However, he is being called the rescued child's father on social media. One jawan and a civilian were killed in the exchange of fire, while two CRPF personnel are in critical condition. One jawan has suffered minor injuries.
