Delhi witnessed a late-night shooting incident as a 32-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants at Bihari Chowk in the Shastri Park area on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as SameeraliasKammoPehlwan. According to the police, the attackers fled the scene immediately after the firing. A case has been registered, and teams are scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to identify and trace the assailants.

A relative of the deceased recounted the tense moments following the incident. “We came to know about the firing and immediately shut our shop. As we stepped outside, we heard gunshots and chaos erupted in the lane. People started running in different directions, and the atmosphere became extremely tense.

Considering the situation, we returned home. Later, after speaking to others, we learned that Sameer had been shot,” the relative said. Police officials stated that further investigation is underway to ascertain the motive behind the killing and to identify those involved.
