Delhi: 68-Year-Old Man Dies After Stray Bull Attack, Another Injured

A 68-year-old security guard died, and another man suffered minor injuries after a stray bull attacked them in northwest Delhi’s Alipur on Thursday.

The deceased, identified as Ashok Kumar from Jalaun in Uttar Pradesh, was returning home from work in Nehru Enclave when the incident happened. The bull tossed him into the air multiple times and struck him with its horns, according to witnesses.

Police found Kumar’s body on Alipur-Budhpur Road and called the crime team for an inspection. The injured man, identified as 60-year-old Ram Lakhan from Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh, told police that the bull attacked him after striking Kumar. However, he did not suffer major injuries.

Municipal workers later captured the bull. Police ruled out foul play and started inquest proceedings under Section 194 of BNSS.
