Mukesh Kumar, a Delhi resident who runs a transport business, was brutally assaulted by a group of unidentified men in Mehrauli, Delhi. The video of the incident went viral on social media, showing unidentified miscreants kicking and hitting Kumar. He was seriously injured and admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state after the incident.
According to Kumar, the incident took place near Mehrauli when he was returning to his Sangam Vihar home from his uncle's place after attending a wedding ceremony. In between the was, Kumar stepped down from the vehicle to have a tea at around 5 am. At the tea stall, he saw a group of men passing comments and harassing women.

"I work in the transportation business. I was coming back from a wedding. The incident happened at 5.30 in the morning. I got out of my car to have some tea on IGNOU Road near Anupam Apartments. I saw that man talking to that woman, so I told him that you shouldn't talk like that, it's not right," Kumar told news agency ANI.
Kumar said he pulled back one of the men for passing a comment to women, after which the confrontation escalated further. A man from the group came from behind and hit Kumar's head with a hard object, leading him into nconscious state.
"I pushed him, and then one of the four men came from behind and hit me on the head. I immediately fell unconscious... I don't even remember what they hit me with... My family didn't show me the (viral) video," he further stated.
A disturbing video of the incident, which has gone viral, shows a group of men punching and kicking Kumar as he sits on the road and falls not in his senses. Men seeing a continuing assault, while another went to pick up the cement brick to put on Kuma,r where pedestrians intervened and stopped him.
However, the police said all four accused were arrested following the incident in Mehrauli, according to a Money Control report. Suspects were identified as Vishal Rawat (26), Jatin (20), Sonu (25) and Vivek (20), all residents of Sangam Vihar in Delhi.
