Delhi Power Cut: National Capital To Experience Outages Till April 25; Check List of Affected Areas

New Delhi (April 17, 2025): Delhi residents will face intermittent power cuts over the next ten days due to construction work on the Namo Bharat Corridor. According to the Jagran English reports, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has notified the public that brief power outages are expected between April 15 and April 25, 2025, as a result of the development work.

According to the reports, the affected localities include Bharti Nagar, Connaught Place, India Gate, Sansad Marg, BP Marg, Golf Link, Pandara Road, Kaka Nagar, and surrounding areas such as Delhi High Court, Defence Colony, Sewa Nagar, Nizamuddin, Sunder Nagar, Jangpura, Srinivaspuri, INA, Green Park Extension, Tikona Park, Kasturba Niketan, and Lajpat Nagar. These areas are within the NDMC and BRPL zones.
