Delhi: Scooter Rider Crushed to Death by DTC Bus In Nangoli, Angry Crowd Sets Vehicle on Fire
A tragic accident in Nangloi on Monday led to the death of a young man after a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus allegedly crushed a scooter rider. According to the Delhi Police, the youth died on the spot due to the severe impact of the collision. Officials said the bus also struck an e-rickshaw and several pedestrians in the area during the incident. Multiple people were injured in the accident and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their exact condition is yet to be confirmed.
Following the fatal crash, tensions escalated in the locality as angry residents gathered at the scene. In a fit of rage, some locals allegedly set the DTC bus on fire. Fire brigade teams were quickly deployed and are currently present at the spot to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading.Police personnel have also reached the site and are working to manage the situation and maintain law and order.
