In a major development Civil Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri, in a tweet communicated that domestic civil aviation operations will recommence in a calibrated manner from 25th May 2020 (Monday). Puri also informed that all airports and air carriers are being informed to be ready for operations from 25th May. 

The Minister also informed about the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for passenger movement are also being separately issued by the ministry to all stakeholders. Earlier, aviation regulator DGCA had asserted that scheduled commercial passenger flights would stay suspended till May 31.
