Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced that, "A fake message is being circulated with regard to the declaration of Class 12 and Class 10 Board Results 2020. The Board has not yet announced the result dates."

The fake notice claims that Class 12 results will be released on July 11 and Class 10 on July 13.

The notice was also flashed by various media channels.

CBSE officials have denied releasing any such circular. Students and parents are also advised to note that the board, though intent on releasing the results at the earliest, has not announced any date as yet. Officials have asked all to keep a check on the CBSE official website cbse.nic.in. The dates, once confirmed, would be announced on cbse.nic.in.

On June 26, the Supreme Court approved the CBSE’s decision to cancel the class 10th and 12th pending board exams. The board confirmed that it plans to announce the results for CBSE Board Exam 2020 by 15th July 2020 for both Class 10 and Class 12 students.
