In a shocking development in the Hathras rape case and murder, the forensic tests say that there was no rape in the  case in which a 19-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted by a group of men on September 14 while she was working in the fields with her family.

The 19-year-old died in Safdarjung Hospital on Tuesday. The victim was brought to Safdarjung Hospital on Monday from Aligarh Muslim University Medical College.

According to ANI, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar has said, “No semen has been found in the forensic report. The FSL report has already clarified that there was no rape on the victim.”

“It clearly shows how a conspiracy was hatched to create caste tension on completely wrong information. Action will be taken those who tried to spread misinformation to create caste tension,” said the officer.

The police officer further said that the incident was reported by the Hathras victim's brother on September 14. A fresh video has emerged on Thursday, which clearly suggests that her tongue was not chopped off as claimed by some, said the officer.

The forensic report claiming no presence of sperm on the body of the Hathras victim has been sent for further investigation.

Meanwhile, after the second FIR was lodged by the family on September 22 in which they named suspects, three more accused have been arrested.
