A large fire erupted at a garbage dump managed by the Noida Authority in Sector 32 on Wednesday afternoon (March 5). Strong winds reportedly caused the flames to spread quickly, engulfing the entire landfill. The fire disrupted traffic around nearby residential areas and along the MP-2 route.

Videos from the scene showed the aftermath of the fire, with thick, grey smoke covering the sky and streets, causing brief panic among locals. Firefighters swiftly responded to the situation after receiving complaints and began efforts to contain the blaze. The dense black smoke significantly reduced visibility in the area, while many residents reported eye irritation and breathing difficulties due to the toxic fumes.
