PM Narendra Modi Strongly Condemns Fujairah Drone Attack in UAE, Calls It ‘Unacceptable’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condemned the drone attack that left three Indian nationals injured in UAE's Fujairah. PM Modi said, "Targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable." He said India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister said India promotes a peaceful resolution between the two countries. "India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE and reiterates its support for the peaceful resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy."

"Ensuring safe and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is vital for enduring regional peace, stability and global energy security," he added.
The condemnation from the Prime Minister aligns with the earlier response from the Ministry of External Affairs, which described the incident as “unacceptable" and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities targeting innocent civilians and infrastructure.

Authorities in Fujairah confirmed that the fire broke out following a drone attack, with local media reports indicating that the strike originated from Iran.
The UAE’s Ministry of Defence also stated that multiple projectiles were launched towards different parts of the country, with some intercepted over territorial waters. According to news agency PTI, three Indian nationals sustained moderate injuries when the fire broke out in the FOIZ following the drone strike.
The injured individuals were provided medical treatment, while authorities worked to contain the situation.
