A major accident has occurred at a railway station in Madhya Pradesh. Chandni railway station building in Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh collapsed after a speeding train passed through the station.

The incident took place on Wednesday when Pushpak Express was passing between Nepanagar and Asirgarh at a speed of 110 km per hour. However, Chandni railway station building could not withstand the tremors of the express train and  it collapsed. The train crossed the Chandni railway station building at around 4 pm on Wednesday.

No one was injured when the incident occurred. It is believed that it is the first such case where a building collapsed due to tremors felt by high speed of train. The accident also raises questions on those who build the station, railway station ag

The accident also raises questions on the authorities who built the station. The photos of the collapsed building show that the window glass of the building was broken due to the tremor. The boards had fallen. When the incident happened, people who working near the building also ran away from the place to save their lives. Senior officials of the railway department also reached the spot after getting information about the incident. The incident had affected the operations of about a dozen trains in the evening.
