A shocking incident has came to light from Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh in which, three members of a family died on the spot in a head-on collision near Airayan Mashayak village, while two others were seriously injured. It is being said that the accident took place while all of them were going to a wedding. An accidental death has been registered in this case at the local police station and further investigation is underway.
According to the information received, Shyam Singh (age 45), Manthal Singh (age 40), Gorelal (age 32) and Rajendra Singh (age 30), residents of Patraha village under Hussainganj police station limits, were going to a wedding ceremony on the same motorcycle in Sultanpur Ghosh area. While in a hurry towards evening, they collided head-on with the bike of Motilal Paswan (age 50), who was coming from the opposite direction near the cold storage in Airayan Mashayak village.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident was so severe that both the motorcycles were crushed. After the collision, the two-wheeler riders were thrown far away on the road. In this accident, three people, Shyam Singh, Manthal Singh and Gorelal, died on the spot. Rajendra Singh and Motilal Paswan, who was on the other two-wheeler, were seriously injured and are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. As soon as this news was heard, the entire village was in mourning in Patraha village. The house from which the four people came out happily for the wedding, is now preparing for the funeral. The atmosphere in the area has been shaken by the cries of the family members.
Police investigation underway
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police have taken the body into custody and sent it for autopsy. According to preliminary investigation, it is being speculated that the accident may have been caused by the imbalance of four people riding on the same two-wheeler or due to excessive speed.
