Delhi-NCR and northwest India are expected to experience rising temperatures over the next two to three days, potentially reaching 41 to 42 degrees Celsius, leading to possible isolated heatwave conditions. This is influenced by recent thunderstorm and light rain activity in areas surrounding Delhi, including parts of Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for high temperatures in Kerala until April 19, indicating moderate heatwave conditions and advising caution. Maximum temperatures in Kerala are expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius in Palakkad, 39 degrees Celsius in Kollam, and 38 degrees Celsius in Kottayam.
