A shocking incident has been reported from Mathura district, where a tragic accident occurred in Vrindavan after a boat carrying devotees capsized in the Yamuna River. According to initial reports, the boat was overcrowded with around 25 to 30 passengers when it overturned, throwing several devotees into the river. Panic spread as many began struggling to stay afloat in the strong currents. So far, at least six people have been confirmed dead in the mishap, while several others are missing, making it a deeply distressing incident for the region. One person was rescued, and the rescue operation is underway.

However, some individuals are still reported missing, and search efforts are ongoing to locate them. Officials have expressed concerns that the death toll may rise as the rescue mission continues. The situation remains tense, with teams working tirelessly to trace those unaccounted for and provide immediate medical aid to survivors.

He has also directed the administration to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and extend all possible assistance to the victims. Additionally, the Chief Minister has announced that financial aid will be provided to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting those affected by the disaster.
