- Eligibility Criteria for Applying for IB and RAW: The primary requirement to apply for the post of officer in both the important investigative bodies is the eligibility criteria, which include educational qualifications, maximum age limit, experience and other basic criteria. - Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed the degree from a reputed university / institution, so that the candidate can apply for the post of Intelligence Officer. - Age Limit: The maximum age of the candidate to apply to the Intelligence Bureau should be 56 years. Candidates must have 20 years of work experience to join RAW.

- Ways to join IB and RAW: Candidate has to face difficult exams to get admission in these two investigative bodies. You must qualify for the interview after taking the written test. The CGPE exam is conducted every year by the SSC for jobs in the Intelligence Bureau. To become a RAW agent, the aspiring candidate must pass the Group A Civil Service Examination, which is conducted through the Central Employees Scheme.
