West Bengal: Lorry Loses Control In Bhat Mara Forest, One Dead, Other Injured
A tragic accident occurred in the Bhat Mara Forest of Garbeta West Midnapore, near West Bengal, when a speeding lorry lost control and rammed into a tree. The impact was so severe that the driver died on the spot, while the injured Khalasi was hospitalized. An IANS report states the accident occurred on the morning of April 9.
Following the accident police have launched investigation. In sperate incident, Five UPSC aspirants and one other person were injured when a speeding Hyundai i10 car struck pedestrians on Bada Bazar Road in Old Rajinder Nagar. The injured, including a visitor to the area, are in stable condition. While five of the six victims are expected to be discharged soon, one may require further medical attention.
