NAINA Urban Planning Moves Ahead: CIDCO Seeks Landowner Cooperation
Navi Mumbai: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has initiated arbitration hearings for Town Planning Schemes (TPS) 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 under the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA). The hearings, aimed at resolving land-related concerns, will help finalize land allocations for the systematic development of the region.
Out of the 12 proposed TP Schemes in NAINA, Schemes 1 and 2 have already received final approval, while Schemes 3 to 7 have been granted preliminary approval. CIDCO has now urged landowners associated with Schemes 8 to 12 to actively participate in the arbitration process to ensure the fair resolution of any disputes regarding land allocation.
To facilitate the process, CIDCO has set up the NAINA Arbitration Office at Belapur Railway Station Complex, 7th Floor, Tower No. 10, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Landowners are encouraged to visit the office with the necessary documents to verify their land allocations. Additionally, those with objections regarding their allocated plots should present their concerns during the hearings.
The arbitration hearings will provide clarity on ownership and land demarcation, ensuring transparency and inclusivity in the urban planning process. CIDCO has assured landowners that their concerns will be addressed fairly, contributing to the planned and sustainable growth of the NAINA region. For further details, landowners can contact CIDCO’s NAINA department.
