Wrestler Sushil Kumar has been produced at the Rohini Court after being arrested by the Delhi Police on Sunday morning. Now shocking details have emerged after his arrest.  The decorated was evading arrest ever since the murder and was on the run, constantly changing his location. However, he was nabbed earlier in the day when he was visiting someone along with his associate in West Delhi. Delhi Police had announced cash rewards for information on the then absconding wrestler and a Delhi court had issue non-bailable warrants against him. The deceased, Sagar Rana, had been training at the Chhatrasal Stadium where Sushil had been a respected figure. Sagar died while two of the young wrestler's friends were injured after they were allegedly assaulted by Sushil and some other wrestlers on May 4.Victims in the case alleged that Sushil was present at the spot when the young wrestler was killed.

Allegations had emerged that Sushil and his associates picked Sagar his residence to teach him a lesson for bad-mouthing the Olympic medalist in front of other wrestlers. Police sources have revealed that several criminals used to take shelter in a flat which was in the name of Sushil Kumar's wife. A Delhi Police wanted criminal named Sandeep Kala was also given shelter by Sushil. A dispute emerged between Sushil Kumar and gangsters of Kala Jathedi's gang after the Olympian asked the criminals to vacate the flat. After that, Sushil combined the enemies of Kala Jathedi and thrashed Sagar in Chhatrasal due to which the young wrestler died. Jhathedi's nephew Sonu also used to live in the flat and was hurt in the Chhatrasal stadium brawl. Kala Jhathedi had threatened Sushil Kumar. Sushil tried to reconcile with the Kala Jathedi while he was absconding. Sushil was also allegedly trying to hamper the investigation by using his contacts but none worked. DCP of special cell Pramod Kushwaha said that ACP Attar Singh, Inspector Shiv Kumar, Inspector Karambir, and SI Rajesh Sharma got a tip-off that Sushil would be coming near Mundka along with his associate Ajay. A trap was laid and he was arrested.  Meanwhile, as per a Republic TV report, Sushil was using more than 14 cell phone numbers to evade his arrest. He was using all his contacts to get help. His friends had given him cash which he used while he was absconding. He knew that withdrawing cash will lead him in a fix, hence he avoided that. Sushil Kumar is India's most-decorated wrestler with 2 Olympic medals, 3 Commonwealth Games gold medals, 1 world championship gold, 1 bronze in the Asian Games and 4 Asian Championship medals.
