In Pics: Madhuri Dixit's Prem Granth co-star Saloni Chopra is unrecognizable now

Late actor-filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor's directorial Prem Granth completed 25 years of its release recently. The film starred the late Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit-Nene in the lead roles.

The Beta actor took to her Instagram page and shared a few BTS stills from the sets and wrote, "An iconic film based on a subject ahead of its time #25YearsOfPremGranth." In one of the photos, Madhuri is seen posing with a child artist.

The young actor is none other Saloni Chopra from 'MTV Girls on Top' which aired in 2016.

She posted the photo which Madhuri shared and wrote an interesting anecdote. Saloni stated, "Is your girl still the cutest or what?! When @madhuridixitnene uploaded this photo last night I fangirled so hard I almost forgot to edit it to go with my TL vibe."

Since Prem Granth's release, Saloni has grown up to become a stunning woman and her transformation will surely leave you amazed.

Sharing a fun fact, she then wrote: "I have a "nickname" (Tina) and a "first name" (Saloni) - of course, nobody at home calls me Saloni. Little me didn’t realise that I didn’t have to introduce myself with both names, so when I met people, I always said "Hi, my name is Tina and Saloni"."

Prem Granth released in India on 22 May 1996. Directed by Rajiv Kapoor, the movie stars Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit and deals with the subject of rape.

The film bombed at the box-office and was slandered by the critics.

Madhuri Dixit, who worked with Rajiv Kapoor in Prem Granth, fondly recalled the moments they spent together making the film. after Rajiv died. She wrote on Twitter: "I had the opportunity of working with #Rajiv Kapoor in the film PremGranth. It was a difficult subject which he handled with great maturity though it was his first film. Remembering the wonderful moments we shared. My heartfelt condolences to the Kapoor family. RIP"
