East Bengal's new Scottish defender clocked just over 800 league minutes (11 appearances) for Wigan Athletic during the 2019-20 Championship season. He had also made two starts this season before making the switch to the Red and Golds.

Guinea-Bissau forward Esmael Goncalves, who signed for Chennaiyin this season, only played 95 minutes in the J2 League this year before making the move to India. Last year, he had three appearances to his name for his club Matsumoto Yamaga.
