According to Governor Iwayan Koster, foreign tourists visiting Bali will have to pay a one-time online tourism tax. This tax will be imposed only on foreign tourists, while local tourists will be exempted from it.

More than 2 million tourists visited Bali last year. Meanwhile, a zero-tolerance policy will be followed in Bali against rule breakers. The new tax will not deter tourists from coming to our country.
