Restrictions for this year's Ganeshotsav celebrations have been removed after 2 years of restrictions due to COVID-19. Therefore, the enthusiasm of the public board in Mumbai has reached its peak.
The Bandra West Public Ganeshotsav Mandal, which recreates the famous temples in Mumbai every year, has created a 52 feet high replica of the famous Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu this year. This year marks the 27th year of the Bandra West Public Ganeshotsav Mandal with Mumbai BJP President MLA Adv Ashish Shelar as its chief advisor.
Every year a replica of a famous temple is made by this mandal. The Kedarnath temple was constructed last year while a replica of Lokmanya Bala Gangadhar Tilak’s palace in Ratnagiri was constructed during the Silver Jubilee year of the Mandal.
Earlier Sai Mandir of Shirdi, Vitthalmandir of Pandparpu including famous temples of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa were decorated.
Many dignitaries from the fields of film, sports, politics, and society come here to have a darshan of Ganesha in this mandal, so this mandal has become an eye-catcher in the Ganeshotsav Mandal in Mumbai.
MLA Ad Ashish Shelar, the chief advisor of the board, who owns this idea, has appealed to the Ganesha devotees to take advantage of the darshan like every year. Along with religion, many medical, social and cultural activities are also being implemented and the board president Jitendra Raut has informed that we will follow the necessary rules.
Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most important festivals for Hindus. Lord Ganesha is the god of wisdom, success and good luck. He is also called Vighnaharta - the one who removes obstacles.
