Textile mills were started in Mumbai and people from all corners of the state came to live in Mumbai for work. From this, Girangaon got a different form of Ganeshotsav. Therefore, Ganeshotsav in Lalbagh-Paral is celebrated with the same enthusiasm even today. (Photo courtesy: Parag Sawant)
