Another incident similar to the Shraddha Walker murder in Mumbai has come to light. The incident took place at Nalasopara in Mumbai. The accused husband, who had killed his 40-year-old wife in Tulinj, was arrested and absconded to Delhi with the help of GRP of Crime Branch Unit Two.

The accused husband's name is Hardik Shah. The police is now investigating the exact cause of the murder.

Both Hardik Shah and Megha Thorvi lived together in a rented flat in Vijayanagar, Nalasopara. After the murder, Hardik Shah went to Tulinj police station to file a complaint. He had stopped in front of the police station for two hours. But, after some time he went back.

According to the police, Hardik spent around two hours outside the police station, but did not dare to confess. Finally he absconded from the city. After that, Shah was detained by the police. It was brought to Mumbai on 15 February.

'Shah was seen in the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the police station premises about two hours after the crime, but he did not come to the police station. Later, he fled by train to Rajasthan, informed the police.

When Shah was asked about his presence outside the police station, he informed the police. He told the police that he was not in a mental state to decide what to do.

He wanted to confess to the crime, but at the same time he was thinking about how to dispose of the body of his live-in partner Megha Thorvi, the police said.

If Shah wanted to confess, he would have come to the police station and confessed. He did not dare to come in and report his crime.

Hardik Shah and Megha, nurses by profession, were in a live-in relationship and rented a room in Sita Sadan in Nalasopara for the past two months.
