Maha Vikas Aghadi govt completes 100 days in office
Ahead of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackerays scheduled visit to Ayodhya on March 7, a special train carrying members of his party Shiv Sena departed for the temple town in Uttar Pradesh from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) here on Thursday afternoon.
Thackeray, who is also the Sena president, is slated to visit Ayodhya on Saturday to offer prayers to Lord Ram to mark the completion of 100 days in office of his Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.
Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray was sworn-in as chief minister on November 28, 2019, along with six ministers. The three-party government was formed after the Shiv Sena cut ties with the BJP and joined hands with the NCP and the Congress, both its ideological opponents.
The Bhartiya Janta Party leader Devendra Fadnavis alleged MVA constituents Shiv Sena, the NCP and the Congress do not trust each other and that their government is the one which makes announcements only to retreat later.
