The BJP may have missed out on forming the government in Maharashtra , but it still hopes to form the government. Even if the Shiv Sena negotiating with the NCP and the Congress to form a government succeeds in its effort, a government with a mismatched coalition will not last long and ultimatey BJP will have to come forward to form the government. However, the party does not want to exhibit too much excitement. BJP believes in such situation Shiv Sena and some MLAs of other parties may leave them. A central BJP official said that the people of the state gave a mandate to the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance to form the government, but Shiv Sena is violating it by going with NCP-Congress. The public is watching everything.
