Pune Accident: Minor Girl Dies After Being Run Over by Car While Parking in Shed

Pune:  A disturbing incident, occurred in the village of Vadhu Khurd, were a eight-year-old girl died after being struck by a car. In connection with this incident, the Lonikand police have registered a case against the car driver. The deceased girl has been identified as Mairabi Rasulsab Baligar.

Lalasab Mahamadsab Kalegar filed a complaint at the Lonikand Police Station, leading to the registration of a case against Bharat Ramesh Nehete, the car driver. Police report that Mairabi's parents are laborers. On April 3rd at approximately 12:30 AM, Mairabi died in Vadhu Khurd after being run over by a car while sleeping in a shed. The driver, parking in the dark, did not see her.  Assistant Police Inspector Nilesh Ghorpade is investigating the incident.

Earlier, in Otur village of Junnar taluka on Friday morning has claimed the life of a 28-year-old woman, casting a pall of grief over the entire area. The incident took place around 11:20 am at Monika Chowk when a truck collided with a scooter. The deceased has been identified as Snehal Ravindra Ahinave, who was seated on the rear seat of the two-wheeler.

Following the collision, she fell onto the road and suffered a severe head injury. Heavy blood loss left her in a critical state as local residents rushed to help and immediately shifted her to a nearby private hospital, where doctors examined her and declared her dead
