Pune Horror: Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault on 7-Year-Old Girl in Moshi

Pune: A shocking case of crime has came to light were a 40-year-old man allegedly assaulted a seven-year-old girl. The MIDC Bhosari Police have arrested the accused in connection with this matter. The arrested accused has been identified as Ramu Kunjal Nisad.

According to information provided by the police, on the evening of April 2, accused called the victim girl into his room and assaulted her. Furthermore, he threatened to kill her if she revealed this incident to anyone. The following morning, on April 3, the accused attempted to assault the victim again. This time, the victim's mother and aunt witnessed this shocking act through the window.

They immediately rushed to the MIDC Bhosari Police Station and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint filed by the victim's mother, the police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 64(1), 65(2), 74, and 351 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), as well as Sections 4, 6, and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. This incident has sparked intense outrage in the locality, and there are growing demands for strict action to be taken against the accused.
