Pune: A teen boy from Narhe area has been suspiciously missing since Monday April 6, 2026. Shrish Pradeep Dhende has been identified as the boy in question. The mystery surrounding the case deepened Tuesday morning when children left his clothes and mobile phone at his residential society.

According to reports, Shrish had gone to the canal near Dhayari Phata around 3:00 PM on Monday to immerse a broken idol of Goddess Lakshmi from his home. At the time, he was accompanied by two or three other children from the neighborhood. However, while the idol was recovered from the canal by Monday night, Shrish did not return home even late into the night. Despite an extensive search conducted by his family members, he could not be found. Finally, the following day Tuesday his father approached the police.

A shocking development occurred in this case on Tuesday morning, Shrish's clothes and his mobile phone were discovered right in front of his residential society. It is understood that some children had brought these items and left them there. Consequently, the police have detained two minor boys from the same locality for questioning. This incident has created an atmosphere of fear within the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the investigation into this case was transferred from the Narhe Police Station to the Nanded City Police. The police have issued an appeal requesting anyone who spots the missing boy to contact the authorities immediately.
