Pune Porsche Accident: Crime Branch Arrests Mafia-Linked Grandfather of Accused Teen, SK Agarwal

The Pune Police crime branch has arrested Surendra Agarwal, grandfather of the Child in the Conflict with the Law (CCL), for allegedly abducting and threatening the driver Gangadhar Hirekub. 

Gangadhar Shivraj Hirekub (age 42) has filed a complaint with the police and accordingly an FIR was registered under sections 342, 365, 368, 506 and 34 against Surendra Agarwal and Vishal Agarwal.

As per the police, the accused allegedly threatened the complainant and forcefully dragged him into his BMD car near Yerwada police station. Later abducted him and locked him in their home in Vadgaonsheri. The accused also forcefully took his mobile phone and threatened to assault him.

The crime branch has now arrested Surendra Agarwal, while Vishal Agarwal is in Judicial Custody. The Pune Police may seek Police Custody for Surendra Agarwal and Vishal Agarwal in the fresh case filed against him. The accused has been kept in the lockup at Lashkar Police station. 

However, this proves that the driver was not driving the car while the accident occurred, claimed the police.
