Pune Road Accident: 27-Year-Old Dies in Horrific Truck Accident Near Manchar

Pune Accident: In tragic road accident young man killed on the spot after falling onto the road following the collision. The two-wheeler and another vehicles and subsequently being run over by a truck; his female companion sustained serious injuries in the same incident. The deceased has been identified as Hrishikesh Gorakh Surve. The accident occurred on Tuesday, May 12 evening near Pimpalgaon Chowk, within the limits of Manchar village.

According to Manchar Police, Hrishikesh Gorakh Surve was riding his motorcycle towards Narayangaon with a female companion when a car attempting to overtake them on the right clipped his handlebar. Surve fell off the motorcycle and was fatally run over by an oncoming truck from Narayangaon.

The truck's wheel also ran over the legs of the man's female companion, who was seated behind him, causing severe injuries and fractures. Her name was not immediately known. Following a complaint by Tejas Gorakh Surve, Manchar Police have registered a case against the truck driver, Ghulam Abbas Sayyad, a Manchar resident, and are investigating the incident.
