Pune Shocker: Man Attacks Friend with Knife Over ₹20 Argument, Arrested

Man stabbed a friend over Rs. 20 loan in Pimpri-Chinchwad area, following the shocking incident police searched the absconding accused and arrested him from Latur. According to the police, Ravindra Dnyaneshwar Gaikwad and Satyajit alias Sonya Kamble were acquaintances and friends of each other.

On Wednesday night around 8 pm, the two had an argument over a minor reason. The argument escalated and Satyajit, in a fit of anger, stabbed Ravindra in the neck with a sharp weapon. This sudden attack created a stir in the area. Ravindra was immediately admitted to the hospital in a seriously injured condition and the doctors said that his condition was critical.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Pimpri police reached the spot. The accused Satyajit Kamble had absconded after the attack. The police immediately formed a team and launched a search operation and within a few hours he was arrested from Latur.

Ravindra and Satyajit were friends who used to sit together every day. However, an atmosphere of fear has been created in the area after a friend took the life of a friend over a mere 20 rupees. It is being expressed that this incident, which happened over a very trivial reason, is an indication of the increasing violence in the society. The police are investigating the matter further.
