Pune Tragedy: Speeding Tempo Hits Multiple Vehicles At Lavale Phata in Mulshi; CCTV Footage Surfaces

Pune: A horrific accident reported at Lavale Phata in Mulshi taluka on Wednesday, 11 February, 2026, were a speeding tempo hit multiple vehicles. According to preliminary information, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to brake failure of and hit the vehicles in front. In this collision, the tempo wheel ran over the leg of a two-wheeler  rider and he was seriously injured.

Four to five other people were seriously injured and are undergoing treatment. After the accident, local citizens showed promptness and immediately admitted the injured to a nearby hospital. The hit vehicles have suffered extensive damage. In the CCTV footage that has surfaced, the tempo coming at a high speed is clearly seen throwing the two-wheelers and hitting the following vehicles.

This incident created an atmosphere of fear in the area for some time. The Paud police in Mulshi are conducting further investigations into this case and the process of determining the exact cause and responsibility of the accident is underway.

Meanwhile a shocking incident caught on camera were a 4 to 5 unknown persons pulled down the ST bus driver and beat him up brutally after stopping the car. This incident occurred on Pune-Solapur highway on Monday (February 9, 2026) around 3:30. Police informed that the driver of the Solapur depot, Atul Bhosale, was seriously injured in this attack and suffered a severe blow to his head.

After the incident, passengers in the bus immediately called an ambulance and admitted the injured driver to the government hospital in Daund. Initially, the driver was unable to speak and a complaint could not be filed. However, after regaining consciousness on Tuesday, he informed the authorities and then a case was registered with the Ravangaon police.

A passenger had captured the entire incident on his mobile phone. The matter gained momentum when this video later reached the driver and transport officials. The Solapur depot chief immediately came to Daund and filed an official complaint.
