Pune Weather Update: Temperature Crosses 30 Degree Celsius, Likely to Rise Further

As March began Punekar are experiencing the scorching heat, maximum temperature crossed the thirty-five mark for two consecutive days. Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature will increase further in the next few days. This sudden change is due to the  effect of cold winds coming from the north has completely reduced. 

On Monday, March 2nd - Koregaon Park: 35.7°C, Shivajinagar: 35.3°C, Talegaon: 35.2°C; Tuesday, March 3rd - Shivajinagar: 35.5°C, Lohegaon: 36.4°C, Chinchwad: 35°C. Dry weather is expected to persist across the state. Maximum temperatures are predicted to rise by 2-3°C in Vidarbha, 2-4°C in the rest of the state, and 2-3°C in South Maharashtra. Pune and surrounding areas are expected to have mostly clear skies.As March began Punekar are experiencing the scorching heat. Senior Meteorologist Anupam Kashyapi said, the maximum temperature in the state is increasing. The maximum temperature is mainly increasing in Mumbai, Palghar, Thane, Raigad. There is no sign of a decrease in the minimum temperature. Also, the maximum temperature may increase in Pune.

On Tuesday, Akola recorded the state's highest temperature at 38.6 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department. Other notable temperatures included Jalgaon (37.2), Solapur (38), and Parbhani (37.9). Mumbai recorded 30.6 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department forecasts hot and humid weather in Thane and Raigad on March 4 and 5, and in Thane, Raigad, and Ratnagiri districts on March 4, prompting a yellow alert for these areas.
