Rohit Sharma’s Frustration Caught on Camera As His Car Gets Blocked in Traffic (Watch Video)
Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Mumbai Indians and their opening batsman, was not thrilled since it appeared that his car had been blocked. The experienced cricket player, with a distressed expression, appears in a social media video pointing out that he needed the other vehicles to pull aside so he could pass. Rohit hasn't had a strong start to the 2025 Indian Premier League, despite leading Team India to their second white-ball ICC trophy in less than a year. He struck a duck in the Mumbai Indians' first game against the Chennai Super Kings and then eight against the Gujarat Titans on Saturday in Ahmedabad. The Mumbai Indians have now lost both of their games.

Given that Rohit's performance is crucial to the Mumbai Indians' chances of winning the championship, former England captain Michael Vaughan has offered an intriguing opinion on how Rohit can get back to his previous level. The right-handed batsman needs to act like he's wearing India's blue jersey, Vaughan said. The fifty-year-old Michael Vaughan stated in an interview with Cricbuzz. "He simply needs to act as though he is playing Indian blues rather than Mumbai blues. He plays really well. He must get runs if Mumbai is to make the trip this year. He needs to get his team off to a great start and regain his confidence and magic. I simply believe that Mumbai would not qualify for the playoffs if Rohit Sharma is fired. He is among the select few players who can win a match by himself," he added.
Sanjay Manjrekar, a former cricket player of India, warns that "things are slipping away" for Rohit Sharma, who he feels can no longer rely only on natural skill. In the first two games of the Mumbai Indians' IPL 2025 season, Rohit Sharma has only managed eight runs. He got off to a promising start with two boundaries in Mumbai's pursuit of 197 against Gujarat Titans on Saturday, March 29, but was destroyed by a spectacular delivery from Mohammed Siraj.
After a game-winning knock in the Champions Trophy final, Rohit entered the 2025 Indian Premier League. Before returning to the Mumbai Indians camp, the skipper of India also enjoyed a vacation in the Maldives.
